Tiger Hill has been a sight for thousands of years. It is named Tiger Hill because of its resemblance to a crouching tiger, at the top, is the Tiger Hill pagoda. A structure hundreds of years old and recently renovated to preserve it. The first thing I noticed was that the walk up to the pagoda had several traditional buildings and walkways on either side and then entered into a seemingly natural, but artificial landing surrounded by stones and planting. Further up we reached the pagoda where we sat and sketched for a while, analyzing the perspective, shading, and detail, among other things.
