Introduction

The China Environmental Design program is a study abroad program hosted by Cal Poly Pomona and North China University of Technologies' international centers. The program consists of rigorous work and adventures. My name is Jacob Ovadia and I would like to show you what I did and what I did with all the awesome people I met during this trip. Special thank you to Irma Ramirez for making this trip so awesome and thank you to Andy Wilcox for helping the measly first years with all of our work and study. Our trip started at the LAX airport with our plane set to depart at around midnight. After traveling across the planet we stayed at NCUT in Beijing to study the city and as much as we could within it. We departed from Beijing to Shanghai where we got to see the flourishing financial capitol of China, then made our way to Japan, the technological capitol of the world. The purpose of this trip was to study, analyze, absorb, and understand the differences between different cultures and their ways of life. Through this, I learned that we aren't much different from everyone else, and that the world is evolving in a positive way. I am extremely thankful to have been able to see this with my own eyes.
