Suzhou Museum

The Suzhou Museum is a museum for ancient paintings, calligraphy, craft, and handmade craft. The museum itself gives a feeling of a modernistic approach with ancient signification with its outside area showing different elements of feng-shui such as the rocks against the wall exemplifying mountains or the walkway through the small bamboo planting as well as the gazebo like structure on the border of the water. Inside we saw several displays of ancient art as well as small coffee and tea shops for people to relax and find refuge from the intense heat. It was a great experience and an interesting destination.
