Summer Palace

The Summer Palace is a huge recreational park with a vast amount of palaces, statues, gardens, and lakes. It is an easy access to different elements and detail that are put into Chinese architecture and design. The Summer Palace is where I experienced the idea that Chinese design is very grand and very intricate at the same time. The bigger something is, does not take away from the detail applied to each pillar, post, bench, wall etc.
